Welcome back to a new school year. I am excited to join the Cougar Cubs family and have the opportunity to work with such wonderful families, students, teachers, and community. This summer has been an incredible adventure! I have had the chance to spend time with my family, travel to the Oregon Coast, and engage in additional learning opportunities at Deloitte University in Texas. It has been a great experience to continue my education.

We have been looking forward to the students' return and seeing their smiling faces. This is an exciting time as we have the opportunity to offer Full Day Kindergarten. Thank you for your patience as we navigated through the assessments and created balanced classes. Our educators are dedicated to creating an engaging and stimulating classroom experience that will inspire our students to reach their full potential

I want to extend a special shout-out to our amazing custodial staff for their hard work in keeping our school shining and our excellent secretaries for their dedication during registration. We are blessed to have such a thoughtful caring staff at Canyon.

We appreciate your partnership as we work together in prioritizing the safety and health of our students. Thank you for following our pickup procedures and using the crosswalks to safely help our students come and leave our school grounds.

Bienvenidos a un nuevo año escolar. Estoy emocionado de unirme a la familia Cougar Cubs y tener la oportunidad de trabajar con familias, estudiantes, maestros y comunidad tan maravillosos. ¡Este verano ha sido una aventura increíble! He tenido la oportunidad de pasar tiempo con mi familia, viajar a la costa de Oregón y participar en oportunidades de aprendizaje adicionales en la Universidad de Deloitte en Texas. Ha sido una gran experiencia continuar mi educación.

Esperábamos con ansias el regreso de los estudiantes y ver sus caras sonrientes. Este es un momento emocionante ya que tenemos la oportunidad de ofrecer Kindergarten de día completo. What is our goal?

Our goal this year is to be the best team we can be, to work together to provide our students with essential skills and knowledge that enable them to progress to victory and support one another. We invite you to join us on this journey. We will work together to ensure that all students will learn at high levels.

As a reminder, we are using only ​one​ lane to drop off and pick up and the lane to the left is so cars can pull out and leave after they have picked up their child. As you wait for your child, please pull forward as cars leave in the pickup lane. If everyone follows this, the process goes very smoothly and quickly. Please do not pull in or block our bus lane.
