Can you believe we are in November already? We continued with our Pets theme. Our Bible Story was baby Isaac. We introduced the letter Ii and the number 9. On Tuesday, Miss Jeannie from the Berne Library came and shared lots of books with us. Our play area turned into the first ever Cubs Pet Shop. How fun!!! We started making turkeys for our classroom bulletin boards, made a puppy puppet, listened to stories about pets, and continued with ASL sign language on Mary Had a Little Lamb. We had fun going on a turkey hunt and singing turkey songs. And yes, we played and played a played!

In keeping with our pet theme, our craft this week was making a puppy puppet. Using a glue stick is a way to help develop our fine motor skills. The children had fun naming their puppets.

Thursday, December 19th- Last day before Christmas break

Friday, December 20th- You must have the December payment in turned in by 5:00 p.m. today.

We are having LOTS of fun creating various environments for your child to play in. This week's "Pet Shop" was a first for preschool. It won't be the last pet shop. We had fun!!
