Calling all Soccer Fans!
A former Washington alum, Mohit Piryani, has kindly asked to partner with WES PTA regarding soccer needs. He is a junior at Raleigh Charter High School and attended Washington Elementary from K-5, and graduated in 2018. He runs a non-profit called Free2Play where they collect gently used soccer gear from the community and distribute the donations to children who enjoy playing soccer. His non-profit collects gently used soccer cleats of all sizes or genders, soccer clothing, or anything equipment related. They have held distribution drives for refugees from Afghanistan and Ukraine, and they have also run drives in Costa Rica.
His goal with these donations is to provide them to families in need. Please fill out this Google Form regarding what you may need for anything soccer related. If you have any questions, please reach out to Free2PlayWake@gmail.com or contact Washington PTA at wesGTpta@gmail.com!
If you have any soccer gear you are willing to donate, Mohit will be at school during Spring Fling on Tuesday, May 21. Otherwise we will have a collection box through the end of the year.
