Welcome back to Rosewood Elementary School Library!
We are so happy to have a wonderful library with over 12,000 books for students to check out, read and return. Students in grades first through fifth have an opportunity to check out two books each week during library class. Kindergarten students can check out one book per week. Students can only have two books checked out at one time. There are no fees for books turned in after the designated due date.
Notices for late books will be emailed to parents or guardians each month and a printed copy will be given to the student.
If books are lost or damaged, please submit payment in the form of cash (the exact amount), check or money order payable to Rosewood Elementary School. Please do not purchase a book from a retail store to replace a lost or damaged book.
Per district policy, the last day to make a payment for lost or damaged books with a check is May 16, 2025. If books are found after you have paid, please return the receipt to me to receive a refund by May 23, 2025. A receipt is required to receive a refund.
Students who have missing books or unpaid fees from previous years will not be able to check out until the books are returned or the fees have been paid. Unpaid fees for lost or damaged books will follow students as they continue their education with Richland County School District One.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call or email me. I can be reached by telephone at 803.343.2930 or by email at ljubica.arceneaux@richlandone.org. Thank you for supporting Rosewood library!
Mrs. Arceneaux, Librarian
Andrea Walters, Library Assistant

TRANSPORTATION CHANGES
If your child needs to go home a different way than normal please send a note or email their teacher AND the front office at rachelle.bartlett@richlandone.org. Teachers are not always available to check email during the day (they are teaching your children), so its best to email both! If the person picking up in car rider or walker line is not on your pick up list, it has to be in writing by the parent for them to pick up. Last, but certainly not least, PLEASE do not call a change in after 1:45. End of day is already in motion and we want to make sure your child is in the right location to get home safely. Thank you!
WALKER/RIDER TAGS CAN BE AQUIRED IN FRONT OFFICE!
