Welcome Back!
We’re thrilled to share that our first week of school has been nothing short of amazing. Your children have been settling into their classrooms beautifully, making new friends, and building strong relationships with their teachers. It’s been a joy to see their enthusiasm and excitement as they dive into new learning experiences and have fun along the way.
We’re looking forward to an incredible year filled with team building, growth, and lots of fun. Together, we’ll make this a year to remember for our students.

Student Handbooks

Emergency Drills
During the school year, Concord Community Schools Police Department will conduct four armed intruder scenarios in each school building. Concord Schools follow the Standard Response Protocols which includes ALICE protocols. Chief John Riddle, a trained ALICE Instructor, works with the administration in each school to safely plan each scenario. During these scenarios, every precaution is taken not to alarm students or staff, while working to support our preparedness should a critical incident occur.
During these drills, accommodations for students who have mobility restrictions, sensory needs, and auditory, and or visual limitations are taken into account by staff and administrators. Counselors in each building are always available for students for those who might need support after drills. Students who are unable to participate in the drills can make arrangements with Chief John Riddle.

Back to School Bash
🎉 **Join Us for the Concord Ox Bow Elementary Back to School Bash!** 🎉
📅 **Date:** August 30th
⏰ **Time:** 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
📍 **Location:** Concord Ox Bow Elementary
We’re excited to kick off the new school year with a fun-filled evening for the whole family! The Concord Ox Bow PTO is hosting a **Back to School Bash** and everyone is invited!
Here's what you can look forward to:
🎈 **Inflatables:** Bounce around and have some fun—completely free!
🚒 **Touch the Truck:** Explore fire trucks and police cars up close, learn about their services, and even get some life safety tips.
🍔 **Food Trucks:** Delicious eats available for purchase, with a portion of proceeds going back to our school. Please note, no food is allowed indoors, but we encourage you to bring camp chairs and blankets to enjoy a picnic outside with your family.
🛑 **Important Info:** The school will be open for bathroom access only.
This is a great way to connect with other families and celebrate the start of the school year. Don’t miss out on this amazing event!
