MESSAGE FROM CROCKER PARENT GROUP CO-PRESIDENTS
Call it Cray May or May-hem, but it’s here! The school year is winding down and ramping up!
What a wonderful time to thank all our Crocker staff for their work and amazing support to make Crocker the special place it is. It’s just a building until you fill it with people that make it an environment for students to thrive.
Thank you to all the parents who donated gifts and cards. Your group efforts made a wonderful week for the staff! Another special thank you to Jenna Golde and Laura Hansen for co-chairing our staff appreciation luncheon. They pulled off a Parisian Olympic theme that was, Bon travail!!
Last week was the 7th grade High School info night. We had representatives from across our Bay Area schools sharing their knowledge about each school. Thank you to Lisa Gargenta and Annie Tan for gathering our speakers and hosting this session.
For those of you with 8th graders, we hope to see you at the Parent Party this Friday night!

CROCKER ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
Dear Parents of Crocker Eighth Graders,
The Hillsborough Schools Foundation (HSF) in partnership with the Crocker Parent Group is excited to announce the creation of the Crocker Alumni Association! This program was created to introduce our graduating eighth graders to philanthropy while helping them stay in touch beyond middle school.
The objectives of the Crocker Alumni Association are:
To promote community involvement and leadership, while sustaining the connections our children have developed throughout elementary and middle school.
To expose our eighth grade students to philanthropy and to allow them to reflect on the HCSD community who has supported them through elementary and middle school.
To foster a strong connection to our community and to provide the opportunity for our students to give back to the district as alumni and members of the community.
The Crocker Alumni Association will be shaped by the students. While HSF will maintain a database of contact information and provide a mechanism to accept donations, most, if not all, communications and activity planning will be carried out by its members.
How will this work?
With parent permission, eighth graders will be able to donate to the Crocker Alumni Association. The suggested initial donation for the class of 2024 will be between $20-$24. This donation will help offset some of the costs of the student chosen eighth grade gift (this year, Class of ‘24 t-shirts have been ordered and your child will be bringing one home next week). All students will receive the Class of ‘24 t-shirt. There are two options for paying the $20-24 membership donation: the QR code below or via HSF's website.
Donating to the Crocker Alumni Association is completely optional as is the decision to include contact information for future events. We simply ask that parents opt-in if their child is interested, and fill out student contact information in this google form CAA opt-in so that their eighth grader can be contacted about future class events and activities.
Thank you for your support of this exciting new endeavor!
