Dear Abroad International School Community,
Thank you so much for your continued support. Our Japanese Culture Festival last week was a great success, and it was wonderful to see the students enjoying themselves and immersing in the rich traditions and activities. We also held the Kindergarten Primary Years Orientation, and we are grateful to the parents who joined us for the event. For those who could not attend, we have included a detailed summary of the discussions below, ensuring everyone is up-to-date with the important information shared.
We are excited to announce that we will be distributing a survey this week to gather your input on our core values. Your feedback is crucial in helping us shape the guiding principles of our school community. Additionally, we are thrilled to share that we have been approved to start our IBDP candidacy, marking a significant milestone on our journey to becoming an official IB Diploma Programme school. This achievement brings us one step closer to offering our students a globally recognized and prestigious education. Thank you for being part of our community and supporting these exciting developments.

Exploring Science Under the Stars: Grade 3 and 4 at Bando Kobe Science Museum
On Tuesday, June 25th, our Grade 3 and 4 students visited the Bando Kobe Science Museum as part of their Units of Inquiry, exploring scientific topics in depth.
Our students arrived excited and curious at the museum, immediately immersing themselves in the world of science and technology. The museum’s interactive exhibits perfectly complemented their classroom studies. Throughout the day, our students acted as investigators and explorers, asking questions and connecting their learning to what they've studied in class. This trip truly brought science to life for them, providing hands-on exploration of the topics covered in our classrooms.
The highlight of the museum visit was undoubtedly the planetarium show. Our students were thrilled as they entered the planetarium and settled comfortably for a captivating show that took them on a visual tour of stars, planets, and galaxies. This experience vividly enhanced their understanding of space and astronomy, making their classroom studies more tangible and exciting.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Bando Kobe Science Museum for this enriching experience. Their planetarium show ignited a passion for science and exploration among our students, and we eagerly anticipate more exciting learning experiences in the future.
