We will have weekly updates on progress and celebrations on the More Than a Field project. So much to be excited about already!
- Dirt work is now around 75% complete. We believe with good weather this portion will be complete in Mid-December
- If you drive by when machines are not working they are now staging the equipment where the South baseball/softball field will be. They have completed that area and replaced top soil.
- The next big phase is to move the dirt to level out the football field and track area.
- You can see the shape of the new driveway off of Agnew Road that will connect in the Southeast corner of the current parking lot. The Northern point of the new driveway is being built up and connected to the current parking lot. This is essentially complete except for final grading.
- Thank you to a large group of volunteers that helped install the silt fence around the perimeter of the area saving our groups thousands of dollars. With all the rain we received this could have been a pretty big mess.
Next Steps:
- Working with businesses for monetary donations, like-kind donations, sponsorships
- Develop Corporate Naming Rights agreements for different areas of Phase 1
- We have received THREE Corporate Naming Rights Sponsorships
