Principal's Message
Clairmont Bulldog Families,
Did you know that our office went through 1,000 tardy slips in 6 weeks! 😮 Parents, help us decrease that number and redirect funds from tardy slips to items beneficial for your students!
Arrival Time & Timeliness: Our school day begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. Please ensure that your child arrives on time so they can begin their learning without disruption. We want every student to start their day positively and ready to learn.
Appropriate Dress: Please ensure your child comes to school dressed appropriately for learning and the weather conditions. This includes wearing their uniform and closed-toe shoes for safety.
Chromebooks: Students are expected to bring their fully charged Chromebooks to school each day. These devices are essential for their daily lessons, and arriving with a charged Chromebook ensures students can fully participate in class activities.
Phone Tree: When contacting the office, please use our phone tree system to help us address your specific needs more efficiently. Here are the options:
- Option 1: School location and hours
- Option 2: Minimum day information
- Option 3: Report student absences and attendance needs
- Option 4: School Readiness & Preschool Department
- Option 5: Bridge After-School Program
- Option 6: General inquiries or to reach the office
We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a positive and organized school environment for all students. Thank you for your cooperation!
Warm regards,
Ms. Shorter

These diagnostics are designed to identify your child's strengths and areas for growth in these crucial subjects. We believe that this valuable data will help us tailor our instructional approach to better support your child's academic journey.
To review your child's data and gain insights into their performance, we invite you to access the flyer provided at the following link: English Flyer & Spanish Flyer This flyer will provide you with detailed instructions on how to navigate and interpret the i-Ready diagnostic results. Your active involvement in this process is greatly appreciated and will contribute to your child's educational success.

California's Daylighting Law AB 413: We are excited to announce our collaboration with the City of Lodi to help raise awareness about California’s new traffic law, AB 413. This legislation introduces important changes at improving road safety and ensuring responsible driving practices across the state.
As a community, it’s vital that we stay informed about laws that impact our daily lives. AB 413 prohibits the stopping, standing, or parking of a vehicle within 20 feet of the vehicle approach side of any marked or unmarked crosswalk or within 15 feet of any crosswalk where a curb extension/bulbout is present, whether or not the curb is painted red. This is a safety measure known as “Daylighting”. Effective January 2025, the rules will be applied whether or not the curb is painted red.

Counseling Services: We want to remind you that our school offers counseling services to support students with their social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs. If your child is facing any challenges in these areas, we encourage you to reach out. Our school counselor is available to work with students individually or in small groups to help them thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
Please feel free to contact us if you believe your child would benefit from these services.
Attendance: Every day, on time! Please remember that regular, on time attendance is key to your child's academic success. If your child will be absent, notify the schools absence line as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued support!
Uniforms: Your students must continue to wear uniforms throughout the school year. If you are in need of uniform assistance, please contact the office.
Minimum Days: As a reminder, every Wednesday is a minimum day. Students will be dismissed as follows- 1st-3rd 12:35 & 4th-6th- 12:40. Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten do not have a different dismissal time, it remains 11:50 year round.
Box Tops for Education: We are a Box Tops for Education school, which can help us earn money for our school. It is an easy way to help us earn money to purchase items and experiences that benefit your student. Check out the two flyers that are linked below for more information.
