Good afternoon Mustangs!
Get ready for the much-anticipated Scholastic Book Fair! This year, students will have the opportunity to shop for exciting books from March 24th to 28th. We’re also hosting a Special Parent Night on March 27th, where parents and families can explore the book selections together.
As we begin the new trimester on March 19, it’s a great time to remind families to support their students in staying on top of any make-up work or missing assignments. This is an important opportunity to ensure that all students are starting fresh and on track for success.
Please take a moment to check in with your student’s teachers if you have any questions about progress, assignments, or areas where additional support might be needed. Communication is key to helping students succeed in the new trimester.
Updates for Student Clubs and Sports
The Gaming Club will begin meeting after vacation on Monday afternoons. Students are invited to come play their favorite card and tabletop games. An informational meeting will be held on Monday, March 3, after school in the library with Mrs. Pires and Mr. Allen. We encourage all interested students to join them and learn more about the club. We look forward to a great start!
The STEAM Club may be taking a brief hiatus. We will provide updates on the club's status in March. Please stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
Spring sports registration for baseball, softball, and track is now open on the McCarthy Athletic website. Practices for all spring sports will begin on March 31. Be sure to register your child soon to ensure they are ready for the season!
