· First Day of School!

o September 3rd – ½ Day of School. 8:04am – 11:29am

o September 4th – Full Day of School. 8:04am – 2:52pm

· Bus Transportation Info - The transportation department will be emailing parents before school starts.

· Pick-Up/Dropoff Procedure o Click here for Map

• Doors open at 7:35am for those who are being dropped off in the morning at Door 6.
• All student drop-off/pick-up's are done in the back of the building, Door 6. (Please see map)
• Please do not use the bus loop in the front of the building during drop-off (7:30am-8:10am) and/or pickup times (2:30pm-3:10pm).
• If you are unable to find a spot on the curb indicated on the map during drop-off/pick-up, please park in the back and allow your child to use the crosswalk. The crosswalk will have staff assisting students safely across.
• If you are coming into the main office at any time during the day, please park in the front of the building and enter through Door 1. (Please see map)

Medication Procedures

oPlease notify the main office as soon as possible with an updated medical plan if needed. (Ex. Seizure, Diabetic, Epi Pen).

· Curriculum Night – September 12th from 6pm – 7:30pm

· Picture Retakes – October 10th during the school day.

· Athletic Reminders – All students participating in sports must have an updated physical on file dated on or after April 15th, 2024. See the South Athletic Website for more information on Fall Sports.

· Attendance - If your child is absent from school, please call us at 586-949-4510 before 10:00AM. If you get the voice mail message, use ext.2101

· PowerSchool Annual Update: ONLINE ENROLLMENT & ANNUAL REGISTRATION SYSTEM FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR. Anchor Bay School District has an online system for all new and returning students. If you do not have your Power School account set up for your student, please contact the Main Office (586)949-4510. • · October will bring our one and only fundraiser, Pirate Prowl! The event will be held on October 18th and info will sent out in early September.
• · October is Anti-Bullying Month
