Principal's message
Lowell Families,
Hello Everyone! First, I would like to say a big thank you to all of the families who came by Lowell to pick up student devices! We were able to distribute over 400 devices on Friday which was just awesome! We will have one more device distribution date for those who were unable to come by on Friday. Families can pick up devices next Wednesday, April 15 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. Please remember you still must complete the device request form prior to receiving your child’s device. Click on the following link to access that form: http://bit.ly/msdwarrendevicerequest It was great seeing so many of our families on Friday! We really miss all of you!!
I also want to remind everyone that Learn at Home activities and lessons begin next Monday, April 13. I know Lowell teachers have been reaching out to all of our families to inform you about the process for Learn at Home. They are all so excited to begin this next week and to reconnect with our students. Please remember Learn at Home Lessons and Choiceboards are available by 8am on Monday morning at bit.ly/msdwarrenlearnathome. You can also go to our district website at warren.k12.in.us and click on explore and then click on learn at home/elearning and find learn at home student lessons on the menu. Please help your students access their lessons Monday morning.
I want to again provide two contact numbers you can reach out to for assistance. If you have questions about Learn at Home, device distribution, or technology, please contact our eLearning/Learn at Home hotline at 317-608-0545 or email MSDWarrenELEARNING@warren.k12.in.us.
If you find yourself in need beyond what is being offered, a District Community Outreach hotline and email have been created. You can either call 317-869-4308 or email MSDWarrenOutreach@warren.k12.in.us with your information. Someone from the district will contact you as soon as possible.
I also want to remind you about our food outreach plan. We have a Wednesday evening food outreach site at Post Road Christian Church and Lakeside Elementary from 5:30pm - 7:00pm. Wednesday locations will distribute a total of 8 meals. We will be distributing 6 meals on Tuesdays and 8 meals on Fridays at now 11 locations from 11:00am -1:00pm. Please see the information below for specific locations or contact me at kgriffin@warren.k12.in.us or call at 317-532-3901.
To kick off our Learn at Home Week, we would like to have a Lowell spirit day on Monday, April 13. Please have students wear their green Lowell t-shirts on Monday. We would love to see photos of the kids in their Lowell gear. Take pictures and send them to your child’s teacher or directly to me at kgriffin@warren.k12.in.us We are so excited to connect with our Lowell students again next week! We miss you, we love you, and we can’t wait to see everyone on Monday! Have a great weekend!
