Our School food drive was a HUGE success! Our school brought in over 1,360 food items for our pantry! Thank you for all the donations!

Raider Pantry

The students in Mrs. Buckley’s class are making a difference in our school and our Cove Creek community. Their community service project this year is tackling the pressing issue of food scarcity in our community, a challenge that many families face due to the escalating cost of groceries and other necessities. Witnessing the students' compassion and empathy through initiatives like the Raider Pantry is truly inspiring.

Members of the Cove Creek Student Council will be helping us with our first food drive to support our efforts. We are so excited to partner with them for this wonderful initiative.

We are ready to start taking appointments for our 2024 Heart of a Pioneer Event. This will be held on Friday 5/31/24 at WHS starting at 4:00pm. This is an opportunity for rising middle and high school potential student athletes to receive a sports physical, EKG (optional), basic health screening, and t-shirt and drawstring bag all FREE OF CHARGE if they participate. Students MUST make an appointment to attend. In order to receive an appointment they must complete the attached packet and return it to any of our schools in Watauga County.

Cove Creek is sprucing up the Concession Stand to provide better service to our fans and hopefully to raise more money for school events. We are in need of a few items (they can be used): refrigerator, microwave, counter size pizza warmer, electric skillet (with lid) and small crock pot. If you have an item you would like to donate, please contact the school. Thanks!

A huge THANK YOU to Tracy Millhorn , who was a guest artist at our Community Roots Fair. Ms. Millhorn painted this beautiful barn quilt painting along with some of the students here at Cove Creek School during our Community Roots Fair. The painting was donated to Cove Creek School and will be displayed at our greenhouse.
