School Site Council
Are you interested in serving on School Site Council? School site council member responsibilities include:
- Monitor, evaluate, and function as advisors to principal in overseeing the School Improvement Plan.
- Participate in reviews of the SPSA and school programs for compliance/quality.
- Attend monthly meetings via TEAMS (primarily the fourth Monday of every month 3pm-4pm).

Community Resource Event
- The CARE Center is hosting a resource fair to provide community access to organizations that provide employment services, youth services, housing information, victim services, mental health services, food distribution, free health screenings, and Medi-Cal and Cal-Fresh sign-ups. The event is taking place Friday, September 27, from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Mast Park, 9125 Carlton Hills Blvd. View the flyer here.
September 23 - 27 is Grandparent Appreciation Week
- September 23 - 27 is Grandparent Appreciation Week in Santee SD! The Board of Education has proclaimed September 23 - 27 as Grandparent Appreciation Week in Santee School District! Whether you are a grandparent or surrogate role model, we thank you for your contributions to your child's education.
- Come and join us for our Friday Flag this week at 8:30 AM. If you can be here by 8:15 AM, we would love to have you join our Kindness Squad with pom-poms and signs to welcome the students to school.
Annual Pancake Breakfast
- Join the Santee Fire & San Diego County Sheriff's Departments on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 7:00 AM - 10:30 AM for their Annual Pancake Breakfast! The breakfast will be held at Fire Station 4 (8950 Cottonwood Avenue, Santee CA, 92071). Tickets will be sold at the door for $5. More information.
Annual Santee Fire Department Open House
- Kickoff Fire Prevention Week by attending the Annual Santee Fire Department Open House! Head to Fire Station 4 (8950 Cottonwood Avenue, Santee CA, 92071) on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM to enjoy educational activities on CPR, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and more; Live emergency operation demonstration; Station and apparatus tours; and Free, fun activities for all ages. Remember...
- If you are parking in the handicap stalls, please have your Handicap Placard clearly displayed.
- Please keep your speed slow in the parking lot. We have many little students walking with parents in the parking lot.
