We have had a great second week of October! It’s been busy here at CCE! We had a successful first field trip of the school year in first grade and big thanks to PTA for another wonderful Friday Feast! We were also able to finalize our Coffee Chats dates for the year. Please see below for all our dates and save them on your calendar, we would love to have you!

TAG Informtation

Are you interested in referring your student for the TAG (Talented and Gifted) program at CCE?

Please attend the virtual TAG informational meeting on Tuesday 10/29 at 5:30 PM!

1. Before attending the meeting, watch this 12 minute video to learn about characteristics of giftedness,the referral process,

and TAG services in RRISD.

2. Make plans to attend the virtual meeting to ask questions and meet the CCE TAG specialists, Jamie Gauck and Melissa Hamilton

Annual Thanksgiving Lunch

We hope to see you on Wednesday, November 13th for our Annual Thanksgiving Lunch.

The meal price is $5.00 for all guests (exact dollar amount is greatly appreciated). If you RSVP’d to eat, please be sure to bring cash to pay for your meal. If we have already scanned your ID this year, you can avoid waiting in line and have your badge pre-printed. Click on this form and we will have your badge ready! If you did not RSVP for the lunch but want to attend, you are welcome to bring a sack lunch and join us!

Keep Round Rock Warm is a Coat Distribution Project of the Round Rock Area Serving Center. Students who attend Round Rock ISD and are enrolled in the Free or Reduced Lunch Program qualify for free coats through the Round Rock Area Serving Center (1099 E. Main Street, Round Rock, Texas 78664, 512-244-2431. Families can apply for coats at www.rrasc.org from November 1, 2024 through December 20, 2024.

The Round Rock Area Serving Center food pantry is in need of your help during the holidays to provide groceries to families in our community who are less fortunate. You can send your food donations (canned and non-perishable food) to school with your child during the food drive November 1-15. If it is more convenient to give monetarily, please make checks payable to RRASC, and mail to: Round Rock Area Serving Center, P.O. Box 5006, Round Rock, TX 78683-5006, or, donate online at www.rrasc.org. Your financial contribution is tax deductible. The Round Rock Area Serving Center thanks you!

HOW TO ACCESS CLASSLINK FROM A HOME DEVICE

If your student needs to access their Classlink app from home, they simply need to go to www.launchpad.classlink.com/rrisd. They enter their student ID as username and their school password. If your student is too young/new to remember their password, you may reach out to your student's teacher for assistance. Classlink is available as an app, however you must use the search feature at the top of the app to find Round Rock ISD log-in page and may not be able to connect to other resources that would need additional apps on your device.

We hope that you will support digital citizenship at home for Digital Citizenship Week and everyday! October 15th-21st we will celebrate Digital Citizenship with lessons and dress up days!
