Meet the Inwood Little Apples!

The votes are in! In a close race and with 451 votes received, the Inwood school community chose the Little Apples as the mascot for the new Inwood Early Learning Academy. The school's colors will be pale green, cream and white. Here's a breakdown of the final vote:

• Little Apples: 179 votes
• Seedlings: 138 votes
• Little Stars: 134 votes

Now that we have a mascot, we are inviting students to put their artistic abilities on display by helping us create the school's new logo! Participating in this fun summer assignment is completely voluntary, and we are accepting submissions from now until January 3, 2025. Please review the contest rules and regulations below for more information.

1. Participants must be a CURRENT Berkeley County Schools student (in-person or virtual) in Grades K-12 for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
2. Participants must attend one of the following schools: Inwood Primary School, Mill Creek Intermediate School, Musselman Middle School, or Musselman High School. If you are a virtual school student, your home school must also be one of those schools.
3. The mascot for the Inwood Early Learning Academy is the Little Apples. Entries must also resemble a circle and contain the words "Inwood Early Learning Academy." Please note the example in the thumbnail.
4. Entries must be original and the intellectual property of the person designing it. Trademarked and/or copyrighted material will not be accepted.
5. Entires MUST include the following information:

• Student Name
• Parent/Caregiver Name (if student is under the age of 18)
• School
• Grade
• Best Contact Phone Number
• Email Address (if applicable)

Please print and fill out the form below, and return it with your student's entry. Entries must be received by January 3, 2025, and either mailed or dropped off to:

Entries will be judged by the Inwood Early Learning Academy Branding Committee. The winning entry will inspire the new logo to be created by graphic design students from James Rumsey Technical Institute. The winning entry will be announced next month.
