There will be an Auction Dinner Committee Meeting on Monday, December 5th from 5:30 - 7:00 PM at Strings Restaurant in Manteca. Please plan to attend and help us make this a fantastic and fruitful event.

We are currently seeking applicants who are task oriented and highly organized for the position of Bookkeeper-Administrative Assistant. Applicants must have knowledge and understanding of Parish Bookkeeping, the ability to interpret financial data. Maintain a current level of knowledge and skills required to function as an administrative assistant. Has computer knowledge including QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Word. Demonstrates successful work experience in an office environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

To guarantee your scrip orders by December 16th, please place your Christmas orders no later than December 2nd. The SCRIP office will be closed during Christmas break.

Please email scrip at scrip@sasmanteca.org to place your scrip order or call the school office. Remember to include a contact number. Any items we do not have in stock will automatically be put on backorder unless otherwise stated by you.

Please do not order physical cards through RaiseRight. If you would like physical cards please obtain them from our scrip office.

The online RaiseRight program is an excellent way to earn your Scrip profit on the go! ALL physical cards must be ordered through our Scrip office.

During Advent we are challenging you to find a photo or take a photo that expresses the daily word associated with Advent. Be sure to post your photos on social media with the tag #SACAdvent2022. We look forward to seeing what you find.

We are excited to announce that Fr. Jude Eli, OP will be our speaker for the Advent Mission at St. Anthony's Church. Fr. Jude has been a member of the Dominican Order since 1964. His educational background consists of having earned degrees in the Disciplines of Cultural Anthropology, Philosophy and Theology. Additionally he has studied at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA. Fr. Jude can be seen on Sky Angel Satellite on the Catholic program “To Tell the World.”

Fr. Jude will speak at all Masses the weekend of December 10 and 11. He will also present talks on Discipleship: St. Mark's Gospel December 13-15 at 10:00 am and 6:00 pm each day in the church. All talks will be different so plan to attend both talks each day if you are able. Everyone is invited to attend. There is no charge and no need to register.

This will be an ongoing fundraiser dedicated to raising funds for science camp.

Christmas time is coming soon and we are preparing for our annual Giving Tree. St. Anthony’s Giving Tree is a heartwarming ministry that involves our entire parish. During the month of November and December leading up to Christmas, the Giving Tree Ministry acts as a vehicle so that members of our parish can share their blessings with those who are less fortunate in our community.

Thanks to your generosity in 2021, St Anthony’s Giving Tree received 593 gift cards. Gift cards can be dropped off any time prior to December 16th either at the school or the parish office. Gift cards can be purchased from the St. Anthony School daily between 8-9 or by calling the school office at 209-823-4513. The school benefits from rebates merchants offer on their goods.

There will be no meeting in December due to the Christmas break. The minutes from November's meeting can be found here.

Secure your child's spot for Kindergarten! Priority registration opens January 3 for all currently enrolled Pre-K families. You may access your re-enrollment packet at that time through your Family Portal. After January 27 enrollment opens to the rest of the community. Enrollment will be considered on a first come - first served basis. For any questions, contact Kelly Meyer at kelly.meyer@sasmanteca.org

Refer a new family, K-8, (Preschool/PreK classes do not qualify) to St. Anthony's Catholic School, once the family is enrolled - you earn one month's tuition credit to be applied to your FACTS account. The more families you refer, the more credit you earn! The free month of tuition is applied after the new incoming family has been enrolled for a trimester.

*Families MUST include your name in the referral section of the application to ensure you receive credit.
