A Note from the Principal
Here are a few key reminders following our first full first week of school:
Safety: For the safety and security of the students and staff we are asking that parents not enter the building during arrival and dismissal time. These times are extremely busy and we want to make sure our students are getting where they need to be. If parents or visitors need to enter the building we ask for you to wait until things slow down after arrival and dismissal is complete. We are also asking for all visitors to sign in at the office and wear a visitor's badge. For safety purposes we need to know who is in the building at all times.
Attendance and Punctuality: Regular attendance and punctuality are crucial for academic success. Please ensure that your child arrives on time each day and adheres to our attendance policies. As a reminder students can be dropped off after 7:45 am and school begins at 8:10am. A student will be marked as tardy if they arrive after 8:10am.
Communication: I will continue to send weekly newsletters but you can also stay informed by checking our school website which includes our school calendar and or our school Facebook page. We will provide updates on important events, deadlines, and any changes to our schedules.
Health: If medical forms have not been returned please do so as soon as possible. As we start the new school year there is an increase in illness in our school community. Please follow our school policy when your child is not feeling well. Students should stay home if they have a fever over 100.4, and or have thrown up in the last 24 hours, or are not well enough to participate in the day's activities. Students can return to school when they feel well enough to attend school and have been fever free without medication for over 24 hours.
