A Message From the Principal
Good afternoon,
We will have our last full week of school next week for the 24-25 school year! This upcoming week we will be celebrating the end of the year with a PAWS assembly on 5/22, 8th Grade Awards assembly on 5/23 and a graduation walk, where each of the schools will cheer on the Class of 2025. 8th graders will also have their 8th grade dance on Wednesday, May 21. Please remember that students must be present in school to attend all extracurricular activities, including school dances.
We are continuing to reinforce our PAWS expectations through the end of the year. Now is a great time to inspect your student's Chromebook to make sure it doesn't have any stickers on it and the charger has been located.
Morning Announcements - 5/19-5/23
Warm Regards,

8th Grade Guest Speaker Request!
The 8th grade teachers are looking for former Fremont Middle School students that are currently in high school to come and speak with the graduating class of 2025. We are asking you to speak to approximately 25-50 students about your experiences navigating high school, your tips and tricks for success, and answer questions the 8th graders may have. This event will take place on Wednesday, May 28th from 12:00-12:30. Please arrive a few minutes early so that you have time to check in with the front office. You may use THIS TEMPLATE to develop a presentation, if you’d like. This will be an amazing opportunity to give back to the Fremont community, help the future Mustangs, Patriots, Rams, and Corsairs and reconnect with your former teachers! It will also be a great chance to earn service hours. Please complete Fremont Alumni Speaker Interest Form if you are interested or reach out to Mr. LaCursia (dlacursia@fsd79.org) if you have any questions.
Early Pick-Up Procedures
If your student needs to be picked up early, please notify our main office at 847-566-9384 or send an email to the receptionist, Karolina O'Malley, at komalley@fsd79.org. A parent/guardian or designated person must present identification to pick a student up early. Please note that the latest pickup time is 2:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and 1:30 PM on Wednesday. Parents cannot park in handicapped parking spots near the gym as it interferes with bus pick up.
Absences
Sincerely,
Emily Loerakker
