  • Office Hours: RVA Office Hours are back!! Please drop in at Henderson Middle School in Room 211 from 10am to 2pm Monday-Fridays. For assistance, please contact our Office Associate, Ms. Joyce Phillip, via email jphillip@rvaschools.net or call our office during Office Hours at (804) 228-3277.

The Math and Science Team at RVA presented during this month's Parent Parliament! A huge shout out goes to our math and science team: Ms. Tiffany Lindfors (math coach), Ms. Kieasha King (math interventionist and elementary math lead), Ms. Anon Anliker (middle school math teacher), Ms. Brianne Conway (high school math teacher and secondary math lead), Mr. Justin Baber (5th grade teacher and elementary science lead), Ms. Beth Hosick (middle school science teacher and secondary science lead), and Ms. Shavonda Sherrod (high school science teacher). These teachers shared owlsome updates for math and science at RVA and ways to engage in math and science at home! Please review the attached notification regarding the 2025 Virginia School Survey of Climate and Working Conditions. This survey will be administered to all middle school students virtually between January 6, 2025 and February 6, 2025. Please notify your child's homeroom teacher before December 13, 2024 if you do not wish to have your child participate. Hoot Hoot!!
