FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Parents and Guardians
I hope you and your family are doing well. I am happy we saw the snow disappear as I am not quite ready for it to stay for the rest of the year. This is a great reminder that we go outside every day for recess unless it is below zero, we will stay in. Continue to send the necessary outside gear for your child each day.
Our students met their goal of earning enough Bluejacket Pride Tickets and had their pajama day last Friday. Our students are doing a great job of supporting our 5 Character Traits of respect, responsibility, compassion, honesty, and self-discipline. The level of excitement our students have when they show me and others that they have a Bluejacket Pride Ticket is so amazing. We are now working toward a school wide Bingo event.
A huge thanks for everyone that participated in our PTO coffee fundraiser. We will be sorting orders and getting information out to all of you when pick up is ready.
Mark your calendars for 11/21/24 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. for our IPS PTO Reading Night. Join us for a great hour of hearing stories, enjoying a snack, and participating in a book exchange. A reminder will be sent out closer to the event.
Have a wonderful weekend and don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have.
Take care,
Shane Dordal

Physical Education Request
My name is Mr. Kubesh and I am the physical education teacher here at IPS. During the course of last year and now this year I have noticed many students coming to PE class with Crocs or Hey Dude shoes on. This is a safety concern in class, they tend to fall off, even with the rubber backing they have and the hey dudes are way too slippery and flimsy. If your student needs to borrow a pair of shoes, we do have a limited supply in the gym they may use, however they need to have a pair of socks on in order to use them. If you could please make sure they either wear shoes to school or at least bring a pair of socks with them that would help your student and myself greatly.
Thanks,
Mr. Kubesh
Health Office - Extra Clothes
At this age accidents and spills happen! When they do, it is nice for your child to have their own clothes to change into. Please always keep an extra pair of clothing in your child's backpack so that they can be comfortable in something that is familiar and fits them. Thank you!
