Join Iranetta Rayborn Wright, CPS Superintendent and CEO, for a series of monthly community conversations about Academics, Behavior and Culture. Some town halls may focus on a special topic, but all meetings will provide attendees an opportunity to ask questions and learn about the district's new strategic priorities as they pertain to the Board's Goals & Guardrails.

Take the Be Present! Pledge

• It truly takes an entire community to help a child reach their full potential as an advocate, a volunteer or simply promote what it means to be present in the lives of children. Commit to "Be Present" and take the pledge at https://www.cps-k12.org/bepresent

Pony League will consist of two (1) hour sessions on Friday evenings in the Kilgour Gym from 5:00-7:00pm. The first hour will be for the girls and second hour for the boys. There will be no other weekday practices or weekend games. The sessions start January 5th and will run through Feb 23rd. The sessions will not be held on days where kids do not have classes.

Parent support is required for the success of the program. We need volunteer coaches. Advanced preparation is not required as we already have a successful format – you only need to show up and help for one hour. Coaching & basketball experience are also not required but helpful.

Come out this weekend to support our Mustang ballers! Games @ Kilgour will start at 9a with the final tip at 5p on Saturday, 1/6. There's no hoops action on Sunday so be sure to catch a game or 8 on Saturday. Let's help our teams get off to a Mighty Mustang restart in 2024!

The Lost & Found area is overflowing! There's one last opportunity to reclaim any missing items before we make a donation on behalf of the Kilgour community. In case you aren't aware, the L&F is located just outside the gym in the connector area. This Saturday is a perfect time to stop up and make sure that coat, sweatshirt or other item you've been looking everywhere for isn't hanging or folded on one of the L&F racks. The connector area will be open between 9a and 5p during basketball this Saturday. Any items remaining on Monday will be donated. In 2024 we're going out with the old and making room for what's new!!!

Dewey's is partnering with Kilgour for another giveback night!

Come out to the Oakley Dewey's on Tuesday, January 16th from 4:00 - 9:00pm.

When you mention the dine out night when ordering, Kilgour will receive 20% of all Kilgour sales.
