🧠 Before the Test

1. Get a Good Night’s Sleep
   Aim for 8–10 hours. Your brain needs rest to work its best!
2. Eat a Healthy Breakfast
   Fuel up with protein and complex carbs (like eggs, toast, or oatmeal). Avoid too much sugar.
3. Stay Positive
   Replace “I can’t do this” with “I’ll try my best” or “I’ve got this.”

📝 During the Test

1. Read All Directions Carefully
   Don't rush. Take time to understand what each question is really asking.
2. Double-Check Your Work
   If you finish early, go back and review your answers—especially for careless mistakes.
3. Don’t Panic Over Hard Questions It’s okay to not know everything. Stay calm, take a breath, and try your best.

There is a new App that can and will be used throughout the Parish to report things anonymously from your phone, iPad, or computer-The Close Watch App.

Brief Overview: A complaint is received by CPSO and law enforcement will check out the complaint to make sure it is legitimate and will then move forward.

Crimes and thefts can be reported, either in school or out, and it can prevent mass casualty incidents with just a few key strokes.

Moss Bluff Middle School is a Top Gains Honoree AGAIN! Way to go Bronco students, families, teachers, and staff!

A Top Gains school is a school that earned a progress index equivalent to an "A" and did not earn any Urgent Intervention Required labels for student groups and/or discipline.

At the State Beta Convention, our very own Gunnar Guy (right) was elected as Vice President! He will help plan, coordinate, and lead the 2026 State Convention and will also campaign for National Officer Positions this summer in Orlando, Flordia! Great job, Gunnar! We are so proud of you!

Phillip Mouton placed 3rd Individual at the Jennings Golf Club!

MBMS Boys' Team placed 2nd Overall!

Tucker Griffin placed 1st Overall Boy Golfer in the golf tournament at Gray Plantation.

MBMS Art Show was a huge success! Students in Mrs. Best's Art Class and Art Club showed off some ahhhhmazing masterpieces. Mrs. Cook's Hospitality Team served up delicious red beans and rice, and Mr. Hearne's Jazz Band set the mood with some swinging tunes!

MBMS Student Council was at it again providing fellow Broncos with a Bronco Spirit Bracelet and SnoCones!

Some of our Broncos were treated to a Carnival that was put on by Calcasieu Parish School Board Department of Special Servies.

So much fun was had! Look at those smiles!
