Field Day 2025!!

Grades K-2 9:20 - 11:30 (Kinder done at 11:20)

Regular Lunch Schedule

Grades 3-5 1:00 - 3:00

Parents: Check for the ‘Sign Up Genius’ to bring water balloons, a watermelon or to help cut up watermelons the morning of Field Day.

Preparing your child for Field Day:

Wear PE shoes and comfortable clothing
Bring own water bottle
Students will get wet at some of the stations but they may not wear swimsuits
Apply sunscreen at home

Where : Meet at the bike racks for your certificate, sticker &

snack when you arrive at Ponderosa.

May 7 is National “Walk -n- Roll to School Day”.

We hope you can join us by walking, biking, rollerblading or riding your scooter to school.

Remember to always wear a helmet and follow all traffic signs. Look right, look left and look right again to be safe.

New Nutrition Services Program

As many of you have noticed, our new nutritional services program has menus that have a lot more detail, but are not user friendly. You can view the online menu here. Just be sure to change the school to "Ponderosa" and that you are on the "lunch" option, NOT the "ECD lunch"

What I need to know:

School Hours:

8:00 am - 3:10 pm - M, T, Th, F
9:00 am - 3:10 - Wednesdays

Breakfast:

7:40 am - 7:55 am - M, T, Th, F
8:40 am - 8:55 am - Wednesdays

Please note - students may not be on school grounds before 7:40 am (8:40 am on Wednesdays) unless they are participating in a school sponsored activity. There is no adult supervision before that time.

Before and After School Care

The YMCA of Northern Colorado offers safe and structured care for Ponderosa students before and after school. YMCA is open from 3:10 pm until 6:00 pm each day after school.
