Dear Martin Families and Caregivers,

Thank you all for joining us during Parent/Teacher Conferences. Strong partnerships between homes and school have been correlated with improved student motivation, improved academic performance, and positive social impacts. Thank you for your investment in your child's education.

It's not just basketball that has March Madness, so does the yearbook committee! Did you know that we have to submit the yearbook for print by 4/25?! That's just 5 weeks away!!!

On rainy days or when the ground is wet, please do not send your children to school with Crocs. We have rugs at our entrances, and even so, many children wearing Crocs are slipping and falling on our hard, tiled floor--especially during arrival. Crocs are welcome on other days. Thank you for your help with this! We just want to make sure children start their day happily and without injury.

Recently, we've had to speak to a few students about using smart devices during school time. Smart watches and smart phones may be brought to school. However, they cannot be used during the school day or on the bus. They should be kept in students' backpacks. Please remind your children about this school expectation. Thank you for your help!
