November 2024
Principal's Corner
Greetings, students and families,
It’s hard to believe that we are entering the final months of 2024. With the end of the year approaching, it can give cause for reflection on the year’s events. We can take a look at the triumphs, challenges, new learning, and experiences to see how far we have come while keeping focused on where we are trying to go.
One thing that has helped me in my life to continually move forward (and grow) is to keep an attitude of gratitude. Even during challenging times (2024 has handed me many), we can look for the glimmers of hope to keep us going. A smile from a stranger, an encouraging note from a friend, or even a slight breeze on a hot day can give us small moments of needed encouragement to keep going. If you ever need a dose of hope and encouragement, please reach out to any HHSO staff member. We are happy to help you develop and maintain an attitude of gratitude to help you along your way! Conversely, remember you can be this person in others’ lives as well! Your smile or even holding a door open for someone might make all the difference in the world to someone who needs a dose of hope!
Let’s be that for one another! My challenge to you is to look to cultivate an attitude of gratitude whether it is finding it in your life or being that for someone else! I would love to hear how that goes for you! Send me a message and let me know! erinh@blueprinteducation.org
Thank you for being a part of our community! You have no idea how much you provide us with doses of hope!
In gratitude,
Principal Horn
