CCSD Hosts Community Forum with Superintendent Candidates
- The Clark County School District (CCSD) will host a community forum with the three superintendent candidates selected by the CCSD Board of School Trustees. The community forum will be held at Rancho High School (1900 Searles Ave. Las Vegas, NV 89101) on Monday, March 10, 2025, beginning at 5 p.m.
- During the three-hour event, the community will have the opportunity to hear from each candidate as they discuss their vision for CCSD.

- Anyone unable to attend the event in person can view a live stream of the community session with each candidate. A recording of the community session will be available online following the event.
- Following the community forum, attendees will have the opportunity to provide feedback on each candidate that will be shared with members of the Board of School Trustees ahead of the March 13, 2025 Board Meeting where the Board is expected to discuss and make the selection of CCSDโs next superintendent. News & Accolades
Inspired and Informed: LVA Guitar Students Learn from Music Legends
๐ธ Huge thanks to Grammy-winning songwriter Gordon Kennedy and Nashville music publisher Bobby Rymer for an inspiring masterclass on February 26th, with our LVA guitar students! ๐ถ
Kennedy, best known for co-writing the iconic song Change the Worldโa global hit for Eric Clapton that won the 1997 Grammy Award for Song of the Yearโshared his wealth of experience. Born into a musical family, Kennedyโs collaborations with legends like Garth Brooks, Bonnie Raitt, and Alison Krauss have shaped his reputation as a talented songwriter, producer, and session musician. ๐
Bobby Rymer, a respected figure in the music industry, brought his deep expertise in publishing and artist development, guiding students with valuable lessons on nurturing their careers. Rymer has spent decades supporting songwriters and placing hit songs, making him a trusted advocate for creators.
Together, they gave our students a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the music world, leaving them motivated and inspired to pursue their passions. Weโre so grateful for the opportunity to learn from these incredible industry professionals! ๐๐ค
Film Students Visit Warner Bros. & Universal Studios
Our talented group of Film Production students had a blast touring Warner Bros. and Universal Studios! ๐คฉ At Warner Bros., they got a sneak peek behind the scenes, visiting an active set for All American and even taking a fun photo on the iconic Friends TV show couch! ๐๏ธ๐ฅ
Of course, no trip to Universal Studios is complete without enjoying the awesome rides! ๐ข Letโs keep those creative ideas flowing, team! ๐ฌโจ
