Mental Health Resources
Over the Thanksgiving break, if you need mental health help, several resources are available through the link below. Most of these resources are available 24 hours a day. If you or someone you know is experiencing an emergency, please call 9-1-1.
Planning to Check out Early Today?
If your parents plan to check you out early?
- Bring a check-out note and turn it into the Attendance Office before school that morning.
- You will receive a hall pass for you to go to the kiosk at the correct time to check out.
We will not take requests over the phone or through email that day. - We cannot accommodate walk-up checkouts during a student's lunch.
Alexia Yiannovits and Viswaa Vallambar received the “Outstanding Position Paper Award” while attending the extremely competitive Georgia State University’s Model United Nations conference representing CHS MUN team. Both students are the presidents of CHS MUN! This is the first award for CHS MUN in the last three years.

Science Peer Tutoring
Need a little help in science? The Science National Honor Society is ready to offer peer tutoring for all science classes for Cambridge students. To sign up, complete the form below!
AP Exams
Cambridge High School has ordered over 1,800 AP Exams for our nearly 900 students taking AP classes. AP students who have not yet used their Join Codes to join AP Classroom for each AP class they are taking need to do so soon. Friday, November 15, 11:59 p.m. ET, is the deadline for Cambridge to submit its AP® Exam order for the 2024-25 school year.
A $40 fee will apply to any student who orders an AP Exam after this deadline for full-year or first-semester courses or exam-only sections.
Students needing a Join Code should contact Mr. Darius D. Maize (maize@fultonschools.org), the AP Coordinator, to receive and use their AP Join Codes for their AP classes immediately to avoid the $40 late fee.
Practice ACT / SAT
Huntington Learning Center is offering a full-length practice test on: November 23 and November 30 at 3:30 pm. Cost is $45, but space is limited. Download the attached flyer below with more information.

Letter Jacket & Class Ring Orders - December 5th
Mark your calendars! 3rd Ascent will return to Cambridge on Thursday, December 5, for Letter Jacket and Class Ring orders.
Letter Jacket Reminders:
- Bring your Cambridge Varsity Award Letter
- Seniors are required to pay in full at the time of order
- 9th, 10th & 11th graders are recommended to pay in full but can order with a $150.00 deposit.
- Bring any extra patches you want added to your jacket.
Class Ring Reminders:
- Seniors are required to pay in full
- 9th, 10th, and 11th graders are recommended to pay in full, but they can order with a $100.00 deposit for Ultrium and $200.00 for Precious Metals.

November is Apply to College Month: Events
Weekly Help Sessions
The Counseling Department is hosting weekly help sessions on Tuesdays, during both lunches, in the coffee shop by the cafeteria. Students can see a counselor for help with completing college applications, registering for college visits, or any other college-related questions.

Alpharetta American Legion - Scholarship Opportunity
Compete in the American Legion’s annual oratorical competition focused on the U.S. Constitution, “A constitutional speech contest.” Contestants prepare and give a speech on some aspect of the U.S. Constitution, with some emphasis on the duties and obligations of citizens to our government. Speeches are eight (8) to ten (10) minutes long. Contestants must also provide a three (3) to five (5) minute assigned topic speech from the below amendments.

Senior Deadlines: Cap and Gowns
Graduation Packages
The first deadline to order senior graduation packages has passed. A $20 late fee has been added to package orders to ensure on-time delivery and size.
If you have not ordered, the last orders will be placed by 3rd Ascent on November 30. Any orders received after that date will include expedited shipping.
