News from Brookwood
Meet Mrs. Kelli Clarno, Our Amazing Brookwood Elementary Teacher of the Year!
Mrs. Clarno is an amazing teacher, and her impact on her students is undeniable. She began her journey at Brookwood Elementary 17 years ago as a paraprofessional, but her love for the students inspired her to return to school and earn her special education certification through the Teach Gwinnett program.
Mrs. Clarno's passion for teaching shines through in her interactions with her 4th and 5th grade students. Her students have a genuine love for her, and she creates a collaborative and supportive learning environment where they feel safe to take risks and grow. She works closely with her paraprofessionals to ensure that all students' needs are met, and she scaffolds grade-level content to meet the individual needs of her learners.
Mrs. Clarno's dedication, compassion, and expertise make her an asset to our Brookwood Elementary community. We are honored to recognize her as our Teacher of the Year and celebrate her contributions to the lives of our students.

A special thank you to Mrs. Holder and Mrs. Strozier for their unwavering support and dedication as the sponsors of the Brookwood Jr Beta Club. Their guidance and mentorship will be invaluable as our students embark on their journey of service and leadership.
