Admin Update
Dear Panther Families,
We enjoyed a 4-day week full of kindness. Besides the crazy hair, pajamas, and Hawaiian outfits, students filled a "kindness wall" with examples of how they are being kind and sent notes to others who were kind to them. Some notes read:
"I watched my neighbor's dog."
"I helped my mom cook dinner."
"I shared my Crmbl Cookie."
"I stood up for my little sister."
It was inspiring to see our Panthers recognize their own good deeds as well as others. We hope this kindness will continue throughout 2025 and our staff is committed to role modeling kind behavior.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Your Admin Team
😧SHARKS ON CAMPUS! EATING STUDENTS WHO ARE LATE TO CLASS😧
Know Your Rights
With the incoming presidential administration, the education community in Santa Clara County, including Cambrian School District, affirms its commitment to protecting students and families regardless of their citizenship status. Here are some helpful resources as we navigate this challenging issue:
- The SCCOE has compiled this resource guide to support local education agencies receiving requests for information about what families can do to prepare in case a parent or other family member is detained or deported by immigration agents.
- The State of California has an online immigration resource website.
- Immigrant Resources from the CA Attorney General’s office, available in English and Spanish
Hopefully these resources will help us as we move forward. We are committed to every student and family in the Cambrian School District.

Attendance is critical to student success!
Did you know...
- By 6th grade, absenteeism is one of three signs that a student may drop out of high school.
- By 9th grade, attendance is a better predictor of graduation rates than 8th grade test scores.
ATTENDANCE TIPS
• Talk about the importance of showing up to school every day.
• Help your children maintain daily routines, such as finishing homework and getting a good night’s sleep.
• Try not to schedule dental and non-urgent related medical appointments during the school day.
• Keep your student healthy, and if you are concerned about Covid-19, call your school for advice.
• If your children must stay home because they are sick, make sure they have asked teachers for resources and materials to make up for the missed learning time in the classroom.
