"I live by two words: tenacity and gratitude." Henry Winkler
As we move into November, we shift our focus to one of gratitude. I am thankful for this amazing community and all of the extra little steps our staff take on a daily basis to make school a fun, engaging and safe place. This week we saw a K-2 flash dance take place, a costume parade, community projects taking off, 1st graders exploring with robotics, and the arrival of the bike trailer! We have a short three weeks before we arrive at the Thanksgiving break. These weeks can be challenging, getting us all to our first break of the year: Halloween just passed, a break is headed our way, the days are getting shorter, and we've been in school for 10 weeks already! We can all help by keeping our routines, getting plenty of rest, taking time to wind down, and striving every day to find the things we are grateful for. It's going to take some grit and tenacity, but together we can make the next three weeks full of wonderful opportunities and learning!
