Bryan County Middle High
Week of November 29th
Finishing 2021!
There are just a few days left in November and December will be here. We are looking forward to finishing the semester. There are many important events coming up, including MAP testing, Lexile baselines, registration for classes for next school year, college applications in the upper school, and new Connections classes in the lower school. We are thankful for all you do to support our schoolhouse!
ALL SCHOOL NEWS: (6-12)
- Schools were built for scholars to have safe, engaging, and enriching experiences. We have seen a huge increase in "fight club" and various physical aggressions. Because of this trend, we are continuing what was put in place last year. Scholars who participate in a fight will be assigned 10 days of OSS with a pending hearing for Alternative Placement. Scholars involved in the fight, which may include things such as: videoing, instigating, watching or planning, may be also subject to 5 days of OSS. We are working hard to make sure our campus is a safe place for kids to learn and grow. We appreciate your support.
- Please help us with our dress code. Dress codes are a critical part of our school's climate.
- Attendance is critical -- please attend school daily and on time and in your assigned area.

We are excited about the renovations starting in our Weight Room and Baseball and Softball fields, so excuse our dust outside as we prepare for amazing new facilities thanks to our Superintendent and Board of Education. During this time, we may run into issues that we have to deal with that are outside of our control zone-- but we are so thankful that in the end, we will have new facilities.
We will also continue to work on mitigating circumstances regarding CoVID. We are thankful that what we are doing on campus is working and we are able to be in school. If you have any questions or concerns, please call us. Thank you for your support and for helping us continue to stay face to face.
