Principals Message:
There is always something exciting happening every week in our Eagle nation.
As we finish up the last week of the regular 2024-2025 Fall Sports season, we wanted to congratulate all our CHS Fall sports teams, Student-Athletes, Coaches, Staff, Parents, Families, and Community members for making it a great season. Thank you to everyone for supporting our CHS Student-Athletes.
There is a lot going on this last week for the regular fall sports session, with Volleyball/Girls Soccer Senior Night on Tuesday, October 29th. Football, Dance and Cheer are having their Senior Night on Friday, November 1st. Cross Country is participating in NWOC Districts @ Blue Lake Park on Wednesday, October 30th.
Our Volleyball team will compete in the OSAA 1st Round State Play-off on Saturday, November 2nd, and the CHS Boys' Soccer team will compete in the OSAA 1st Round State Play-off game on Tuesday, November 5th. This week's standing will determine in these first-round playoff games are at home or away. So, Come cheer on our Eagles!
Congratulations to our CHS theater program, which had an outstanding opening of the CHS fall play Noses Off on Friday. If you have not seen it yet, please come and watch our students' outstanding performances.
Support our CHS Choir Program as they perform at the Fall Choir Concert on Tuesday, October 29th, at 7 PM.
Winter Sports Session Begins, November 18th. Remember, tryouts for our Winter Sports session begin Monday, November 18th. It is a great time to participate in many different sports and activities. Make sure you have your Athletic paperwork in and show your school spirit, have some fun, make new friends, and try out for a winter sport on Monday.
Remember, Thursday, October 31st, is a normal school day. Please follow the CHS School Dress Code and the CSD Dress Code like you would every day at school. If you have questions, please ask an administrator.
Progress reports are being mailed home, so check your mailbox and track your grades on Student/Parent VUE. There are only five weeks until classes end for Trimester 1. Check with your teacher and make up any missing work today to show what you know and excel!
Remember, "Once an Eagle, Always an Eagle" at CHS!

Hello, Class of 2025 students and families! We need your support! The Class of 2025 has approximately 380 students and we don’t have many students or families who have joined the Facebook group or follow our Instagram where we share direct info that reaches you instantly. Please join Facebook and Instagram.
It is the final week for the Charleston Fundraiser; share the link with friends, family and co-workers. Save the date for next Tuesday, Oct. 22 nd for lunch, dinner or both at Panda Express with digital flyer. Bottle drop collection this coming Monday, Oct. 21 st in the CHS parking lot. See details on all 3 of these below.
Save the Dates, Sat. Oct. 26 th and Sun. Oct. 27 th 10am-4:30pm at the Two Hearts Marketplace Fall Market & Bazaar 440 NW Burnside Rd. Gresham (old Kmart building).
