Wilson Elementary School
August 8, 2024
Aloha Parents,
The school year is off to a great start. Thank you for attending the Meet and Greet night and for following the guidelines and procedures of our school.
To ensure consistent communication throughout the year, we will send a parent bulletin every other Thursday. Additionally, we will provide reminders and updates through emails.
Please feel free to contact your child’s teacher or the school office if you have any questions or concerns. Good two-way communication between families and schools is essential for your child’s success, and we value your partnership in supporting your child's growth.
Thank you for your cooperation and support. This will be a year filled with growth and learning.
Mahalo,
Mr. Amine

Documents for your Reference
iREADY Program
You will hear your child talking about the i-Ready program. The i-Ready program allows your teacher(s) to meet your child exactly where they are and provides data to increase your child’s learning gains. The i-Ready consists of two parts: Diagnostic and Personalized Instruction. The i-Ready Diagnostic adaptive assessment adjusts questions to suit your child's needs. Each item a student sees is individualized based on their answer to the previous question. For example, a series of correct answers will result in slightly more complex questions, while a series of incorrect answers will yield slightly easier questions. The i-Ready Personalized Instruction provides students with lessons based on their skill level and needs, so your child can learn at a pace that is right for them. These lessons are fun and interactive to keep your child engaged as they learn.
WSO PTA
Dear Wilson School Families,
Welcome to a new school year! The Wilson School PTA is excited to share our goal of supporting and sponsoring fun and enriching activities throughout the year that benefit our students and school community.
We organize various optional fundraising events and activities and encourage you to participate in those that best suit your family's needs and interests. In your child’s opening packet, you’ll find a letter from us outlining ways to support our school.
Please take a moment to review this letter, and if you can participate in any of the listed options, we kindly ask that you return the form to the office.
If you are interested in helping with the WSO PTA events, please email Laurie Marcouiller at wsopta@gmail.com.
Thank you for your continued support. Together, we can make this a fantastic year for our students and school!

School Messenger Notification - New Families to Wilson
Did you receive an opt-in invitation text message?
If you received a text message requesting you to opt into your school or district's text message alert service, it means that your school or district contracts with SchoolMessenger to deliver notifications to families and staff members, and your phone number was provided by the school or district.
If you would like to continue receiving messages from your school or district you must reply affirmatively with one of the opt-in key words. Simply reply to the original message (or send a text message to one of the following short codes) with either the words “opt in” or “subscribe”. In the U.S., use code 67587 or 78875, and in Canada, use code 724665.
If you do not wish to receive any additional text messages, no further action is required.
Lunch Payment Information

Parents are urged to check for these Payment Reminders or check the“EZSchoolPay.com” website to monitor your child’s balance. Additional deposits must then be made to replenish the account and avoid deficit balances.
