Music News

Students in grades 3 - 5 are able to order a recorder for music class. Cost is $5 - cash or check.

Greek News

Our fifth grade students took part in our annual Greek Fair. They each made a project based on Greek mythology, food, or culture such as jewelry, housing, etc. The projects were on display and toured by all grades. Students voted on their favorite project. Congratulations to our winners: Khloe T, Estella M, and Emily S. Great job!

Parking Lot and Car Line

A friendly reminder that student safety is of utmost importance. We are seeing a lot of students being dropped off on the side of the school or in the back. This is not permitted. It is unsafe as students have to cross a parking lot with moving vehicles, not to mention it holds up the car line. Expectation is to utilize the car circle, or park and walk your child to the front door. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Testing Schedule for Plato Pinellas Park

Below are our FSA testing dates. In the spring of 2018, our state lawmakers passed a statute that requires all spring assessments to be given in the last 4 weeks of school. The two exceptions are 3rd grade reading and 4th - 8th writing assessments. Consequently, our testing dates are condensed, as shown below. Please review the dates as they relate to your child's grade level.

Please review any doctor, dentist or other standing appointments and adjust them to ensure your child is present for our testing dates. It is imperative that your child be on time and in attendance for the designated testing dates.

We are excited as we approach our spring testing season because it's one of many ways our students and school can show off the learning and hard work that has been underway all year long! Standardized assessments are used to show everyone's progress during the school year: students, teachers, and the school as a whole. This is our time to shine!

Important to Note: Our campus will be closed to parent visitors and parent volunteers on the above testing days.
