It's time to spread some love and gratitude as we gear up for our Teachers & Staff Appreciation Week from May 6th to May 10th! This is our chance to shower our amazing teachers and staff with the appreciation they truly deserve for their tireless dedication and unwavering support.
Our teachers and staff go above and beyond every day to nurture, educate, and inspire our students. From early mornings to late nights, they pour their hearts and souls into creating a positive and enriching learning environment for all.
Let's come together as a community to show our appreciation in creative and thoughtful ways. Whether it's a heartfelt thank-you note, a small token of appreciation, or simply a kind word of gratitude, every gesture counts and makes a difference. Our wonderful PTO has planned some incredible surprises, and we encourage you to join in on the fun.
Join us in celebrating the incredible work of our Bologna Elementary School staff during this special week. Let's make it a memorable and uplifting experience for everyone involved!
Scorpions Championing Literacy: Battle of the Books Adventure!
Bologna Scorpions Battle of the Books
Mrs. Kelly Heitic's outstanding efforts in engaging our 5th-Grade students in the Battle of the Books competition are truly inspiring. Her tireless work in coordinating and organizing the event has ignited a passion for reading among our students and fostered healthy competition. We extend our gratitude not only to Mrs. Heitic but also to the families of our students for their unwavering support and encouragement throughout the preparation and participation process. The participation and dedication of our students, alongside their families, have been remarkable. Their incredible performance during the competition is a testament to Mrs. Heitic's dedication and hard work, as well as to the commitment of our older students and their families to academic excellence. We are grateful for the energy and enthusiasm she brings to literacy. Thank you, Mrs. Heitic, for your incredible contributions to our students' growth and success.
Thank you Mrs. Heitic & Families
LET'S GO SCORPIONS, LETS GO!!!
Congratulations to our incredible cheerleading team, Coach Nava and their dedicated parents for an outstanding season! Your unwavering support and contributions have been instrumental in guiding our team to success. Your encouragement and involvement have made all the difference from the early morning practices to the thrilling competitions.
This year, our team had the honor of winning the coveted Spirit Stick for the second time, showcasing their talent, hard work, and parents' exceptional support. Your presence at practices and events has created a strong sense of community and unity within our team.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to all the parents and families who have gone above and beyond to support our cheerleaders. Whether driving to competitions, helping with costumes, or cheering loudly from the stands, your dedication has been truly inspiring.
Together, we have made this season unforgettable, and we are incredibly grateful for your unwavering support. We eagerly look forward to many more seasons of teamwork, spirit, and success, and we know that with your continued support, we can achieve even greater heights!
A CELEBRATION OF CULTURES!
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for joining us in the vibrant and joyous Celebration of Nations and Parade of Nations events! Your enthusiastic participation and support made these events truly special and memorable for our entire school community.
We want to express our deepest appreciation to our incredible teachers and staff who worked tirelessly to organize and coordinate these festivities. Their creativity, dedication, and passion were evident in every aspect of the events, from the colorful displays to the lively performances. Thank you for going above and beyond to make these events a resounding success!
To our families and friends, thank you for your enthusiastic participation and for bringing the spirit of unity and diversity to our school community. Your presence added warmth, joy, and a sense of belonging to the festivities, and we are immensely grateful for your support.
As we celebrate the rich tapestry of cultures that make up our school community, let us continue to embrace diversity, foster understanding, and celebrate our differences. Together, we can create a more inclusive and harmonious world for future generations.
Once again, thank you for joining us in celebrating the beautiful mosaic of cultures at Bologna Elementary School. Your support means the world to us, and we look forward to many more joyful celebrations together in the future!
PENNY WARS ARE BACK!
Get ready to ignite the excitement because Penny Wars are making a triumphant return this year! We're thrilled to kick off the action-packed week from May 6th to May 10th, where the coins will clash during lunchtimes. But wait, there's more! A portion of the total proceeds will go straight to the Chandler Care Center, so let's rally together and make a difference in our community!
Calling all students to bring their A-game and participate with gusto to help us give back. And guess what? The stakes are high because at the end of the electrifying week, the grade level that rocks the fundraising chart will earn the ultimate prize: a sizzling pizza party funded by STUCO! So, gather your coins, summon your spirit, and let's make this Penny Wars the most epic one yet! 🎉
Here are the rules for Penny Wars:
Pennies and dollars will be counted as positive points for your grade level.
Any silver coins (nickels, dimes, quarters) are counted as negative points. You can use the silver coins to sabotage other grade levels to help your grade reach the top!
In summary, put pennies and dollars in your grade level bucket and silver coins in other grade level buckets!
