Welcome back from the long Christmas Break! We hope you had a wonderful holiday season and enjoyed some quality time with your family. We are excited to have the students back in school!

Term 2 will wrap up next week and we will be holding our SEP Conferences on Thursday, January 13th from 3:30 - 8:30 pm. The link for the sign up genius is provided below. We have also included information about our Book Fair which will open on Monday, January 10th.

Remember that there is no school on Friday, January 14th (Teacher Development Day) or on Monday, January 17th (Martin Luther King Day). Term 3 begins on Tuesday January 18th.

Over the next two weeks we will be doing all of our Mid-Year Benchmark assessments in reading and math to see how students are performing and what additional help and support they may need during the second half of the school year. We look forward to seeing the growth students have made so far.

With the snow and cold weather, we want to remind parents to send their child dressed appropriately each day as students will still be going outside for recess on most days. As a reminder, we keep students inside only if it's snowing/raining, the air quality is poor or if the temperatures are extremely cold. It's a great idea to label your child's items with their name. If your child loses an item, you are welcome to come browse our Lost and Found area in the main hallway.

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held next Thursday, January 13th from 3:30-8:30 pm. We are going to continue holding the majority of these conferences over Zoom. If you need to meet with your child's teacher face-to-face, please indicate on the sign up.
