Class of 2024
First off, congratulations again to our 2024 graduates! We are very proud of all that you've accomplished. We are confident that your achievements will continue and we can't wait to hear all about them.
Final transcripts: if you have not requested your final transcript to be sent to your college, you need to do so ASAP. Go to www.parchment.com and login to your account to make the request. TRANSCRIPTS WILL BE READY AND REQUESTS WILL BE SENT NEAR THE END OF JUNE ONCE THE GRADING PROCESS HAS BEEN COMPLETED. Counselors are NOT responsible for sending final transcripts to your school.
If you have questions about your transcript or need assistance, you may contact Mrs. Paulus at 248-726-5727 or lpaulus@rochester.k12.mi.us throughout the summer.
Class of 2025 - Planning for After High School
Class of 2025, there was a lot of information presented to you during your spring meeting this year. The presentation can be reviewed below!
INCOMING SENIORS
Some tips for the college application process:
- If you need a letter of recommendation, ask your teacher or counselor immediately upon return to school and provide them with a completed Student Profile Form or Resume the same day. The Student Profile Form for the 2024-2025 can be found in the Smore above.
- Plan and organize time for college visits, tours, or open houses, even virtual opportunities.
- Join mailing lists of your potential colleges of interest.
- Utilize Xello to help identify future career and its education path.
- Consider taking the ACT or retaking the SAT this summer.
- If your college application requires essays, we highly encourage you to get them started NOW.
- Most college applications open at the beginning of August. Set some time aside to start them once they open up.
- Create an account on Parchment with your non-RCS email so you are ready to send your transcripts in the fall. This is the only way to request them. Make sure to select 2025 as your graduation year and use your full legal name.
Your Schedule and August Registration
INCOMING FRESHMEN: Orientation will take place on Monday, August 19th from 8am-12pm.
