Dear Families,
It's time to order your child's artwork. The Square 1 Art package was given to you at Parent Teacher Conferences. Now is the time to order keepsakes and gifts featuring your child's art online, if you like! Simply search for your child's art using Art Search, and enter state, school name, and your student's name. Your student's art and code will appear, and you may order!

HALLOWEEN INFORMATION
Halloween Parade and Costume Information
We will have a Halloween Parade at school Tuesday, October 31, from 3:05- 3:15 p.m. Parents are welcome to come watch the parade. Classroom parties will be handled by teachers and staff. The parade will take place outside. Students will exit the building on the west side of the building and proceed down 152nd to Drexel and then east on Drexel to the front of the building and reenter the front doors.
Below are our guidelines for costumes.
1. Costumes should come to school in a bag or sack with your child's name written on the outside. Children should not wear costumes to school in the morning.
2. Costumes should be age appropriate, no weapons, no fake blood. Questions about costumes may be directed to Dr. Cooper before the parade. On the day of the parade, questionable costumes will be sent to the office and phone calls made home.
3. No face makeup will be used for the school parade. It is uncomfortable and disruptive to wear all day. Students will not be allowed to put on face paint or hairspray at school.
4. We do not have enough restroom space for all students to change into their costumes in the privacy of a restroom. Students should be able to put their costume on in their classrooms.
5. Children do not have to wear costumes. Students without costumes can still
walk in the parade.
6. Parents wanting to come observe the parade are invited to do so. Please plan to arrive between 3:05-3:15 to observe the parade outside. There is no need to check in at the office.
Students will return to the classroom following the parade to gather belonging. Dismissal will follow as usual at 3:30. Parents are asked to wait outside until students are dismissed.
