This Week at Our Lady of the Lake!
Week #4 Update
Our Lady of the Lake School is committed to the Word of God through living out the Good News of Jesus Christ. A supportive educational team of students, staff, parents, and community aims at providing a creative, Christian learning environment. An emphasis is placed on developing students’ individual abilities, promoting social awareness, and encouraging them to become responsible, contributing members of church and society.
Week #4 Update
Dear OLL Families,
As we reflect on another week of growth and learning at Our Lady of the Lake School, I'd like to share some thoughts on a theme that's been prevalent in our community: overcoming obstacles through faith.
Life often presents us with challenges, both big and small. Our students encounter these in various forms – be it a difficult math problem, a disagreement with a friend, or adapting to new routines. It's crucial to remember that these obstacles are not roadblocks, but opportunities for growth and learning.
This week, I've witnessed countless examples of our students demonstrating remarkable perseverance. From our youngest learners mastering new skills to our older students tackling complex projects, the spirit of determination shines brightly in our halls.
In times of difficulty, we are reminded of the importance of putting our trust in God. Our faith teaches us that we are never alone in our struggles. By turning to prayer and reflection, we find the strength and guidance to navigate life's challenges.
Remember, our school community is here to support one another. Teachers, staff, and fellow parents form a network of care and encouragement. Let's continue to uplift each other and our children as we face obstacles together.
As we enter this new week, I'd like to leave you with this powerful quote about faith:
"Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase." - Martin Luther King Jr.
May this remind us all to move forward with confidence, knowing that our faith will guide us, even when the path ahead seems uncertain.
Have a beautifully blessed week,
Mr. Conroy
