LaLiberte Weekly Update

Dear Families:

Happy Friday! Can you believe February is over? We have really enjoyed the milder weather and the opportunity to get outside (even if it has only been on the blacktop!).

We will be celebrating Read Across America Day on March 4, with some guest readers and a fun "Masked Reader" game for the students!

Wednesday is a 1/2 day of school for professional development for teachers!

Student Choice Is Coming For 2nd Graders, Week of March 10-14.

2nd Graders can vote for their favorite Fun Lunch, to be available on Wednesdays for the remainder of the school year:

Hummus Fun Lunch (Hummus, Corn Chips, Pretzels, Veggies) vs

Pizza Bagel Fun Lunch (Bagel, Pizza Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese)

Receive a ticket to vote when you take a lunch all week long.

Pizza Bagel and Hummus Fun Lunches are available all week for all students.

AUTHOR VISIT: BRIAN LIES

We are thrilled to welcome award-winning author and illustrator Brian Lies to our school on March 13th and 14th! Best known for Bats at the Beach and many other beloved books, Brian will share insights into his creative process and inspire young readers.
