As we nurture our students' growth, it's essential to emphasize the importance of kindness in our daily interactions. Please take a moment to talk to your children about the power of their words and the impact they can have on others. Encouraging them to think before they speak can foster a more compassionate environment, helping them understand that kindness goes a long way in building friendships and creating a supportive community.
Additionally, remind your children that what they say should be both helpful and true. Teaching them to express themselves thoughtfully can empower them to communicate effectively and respectfully. Together, we can cultivate a culture of kindness and understanding, ensuring our school is a place where everyone feels valued and heard. Thank you for your continued support in this important mission!
The dress code is vital for maintaining a respectful and focused educational learning environment at EISD. It not only promotes a sense of unity and equality among students but also prepares them for future environments where dress codes are often expected, fostering habits of presentation and professionalism that are valuable beyond school.
We kindly request your support in ensuring that your child follows the dress code guidelines outlined in the school handbook. Please take a moment to review the dress code policy with your child to guarantee compliance throughout the academic year.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries or require clarification regarding the school's dress code policy. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
Parents,
We kindly ask for your support in ensuring that your child adheres to our cell phone policy. It is important for students to remain focused during school hours, and the policy helps minimize distractions in the classroom. Please remind your child of the importance of following these guidelines. We truly appreciate your continued support and cooperation in helping us maintain an environment conducive to learning.
During the school day, phones must be turned off, and other non-school issued electronic devices (air pods) should be put in backpacks. Violations of this will result in the phone being confiscated and sent to the office.
First Offense- The student will receive a write-up and a warning and may pick up their phones at the end of the day.
Second Offense- This will result in a write-up and a $15 penalty, and the parent or guardian needs to pick up the device at the end of the school day.
Any further violations can result in the same penalty as the second offense but can include further disciplinary action, including but not limited to revocation of all phone privileges while at school.
Student's may only have their phone during lunch if allowed by the admin on duty.
It Takes A Team To Cultivate Young Minds
Regular attendance is vital to your child's success in school. Consistent attendance helps students stay engaged, keep up with classwork, and develop essential skills for their academic growth. When students miss school frequently, they may fall behind, which can impact their learning progress and confidence. We ask for your continued commitment to ensuring your child attends school regularly, as every day of learning makes a difference. Together, we can help your child reach their full potential.
Thank you for your support.
