Bon Voyage
Our 8th grade class is almost done with their time at Beadle. To end their year, we have an end of the year party called Bon Voyage. This is held Monday, May 13th at Papio Fun Park from 3:30-5:30. Parents are responsible for transportation to & from the event.
Spring Fling
Thursday, May 16 from 3:30-5:00 PM at Beadle Middle School
To celebrate the end of the year, Student Council is hosting our annual Spring Fling party for 6th and 7th graders. This exciting and fun event offers students a live DJ for dancing, open gym for basketball, an obstacle course bounce house, a photobooth, door prizes, and pizza, pop, and a cookie for everyone! Spring Fling will take place Thursday, May 16 from 3:30 - 5:00PM at Beadle. Tickets will be sold for $5.00 before school beginning Friday, May 10. Ticket prices will raise to $6.00 at the door of the event. We hope to see our 6th and 7th graders there!
8th Grade Honors Night
Tuesday, May 21 7:00 PM at Beadle Middle School
Please have students arrive at 6:30 for line-up. Refreshments will be served. We hope to see you all there to honor all our 8th Graders!
End of the School Year Reminders
Last Day of School
The last day of school is Thursday, May 23 -- Students will be dismissed at 11:15 am. Buses will run accordingly. Please have all students picked up by 11:30 am. Breakfast cereal will be served before school, but there will be no lunch served this day.
On the last day of school, students are not to bring anything to school and are not to use their lockers. Team teachers will need to decide where students can keep a spiral notebook and pen/pencil to be used that day in their classes.
Library Books
All library books, magazines or other materials should be returned before the end of the school year.
Lost & Found
Please encourage you student to look through the Lost & Found before or after school. All unclaimed lost and found will be donated at the end of the day on May 21st
Yearbooks
Yearbooks will be handed out on Friday, May 17 in Bulldog Block. All fees and owed lunch money must be paid in order for students to receive their Yearbook on time.
Football Meeting
Current 8th Graders Interested in playing High School Football
Monday, May 20 at 3:00PM in the C114. Current 8th Graders - Coach Peterson will visit Beadle to cover upcoming High School Summer Football Activities. From the Health Room
Pick up Student Medications
Please make arrangements to pick up your student’s medication from the school Health Office
on or before the last day of school; May 23, 2024. ALL prescription medications must be picked
up by the parent/guardian. Medication not picked up will be appropriately discarded. The
school cannot store medication in the office over the summer.
Students may pick up their own over-the-counter medications. If you are not comfortable with
your child bringing home these medications, please let me know and arrange to pick them up.
If you have any questions feel free to contact the school’s health room. We wish you a fun and
relaxing summer and look forward to seeing you next year!
2024 - 2025 7th Grade Physicals
Nebraska law requires every seventh grade student to have either a doctor's physical or waiver signed by a parent/guardian before entering seventh grade in August. Seventh grade physicals must be dated within 6 months prior to the first day of school. 2024 – 2025 Sports Physicals
Seventh and eighth grade students planning to participate in sports through BMS, are required to have a physical and it must be dated after May 1. For questions regarding sports physicals and paperwork, please contact Tassie Little, Beadle Athletic Director, at (402) 715-6100 or tflittle@mpsomaha.org.
