Greetings Bronco Families!

It was a great week of celebrating student accomplishments. Congratulations to our Broncos who celebrated at our student of month program this week. Students were recognized for demonstrating our PBIS tenets- Citizenship, Advocacy, Respect, and Engagement. Special shoutout to our student athletes on their first home basketball game! Kudos to our eighth-grade band on their side-by-side performance at Brookwood High School. We are so proud of our Broncos' accomplishments throughout the school community.

As we enter the last two weeks of semester, monitor your student’s performance and engagement closely to help them finish strong. Remember that your 24-25 Parent and Family Resource Guide provides additional guidance for doing so. Check out important updates below!

• Crews along with 32 GCPS schools will be participating in a short pilot of clear backpacks, January 6 -31.

• If you missed the district communication shared November 22nd, review detailed information about the clear backpack pilot on the district website.

• If you missed the Crews communication shared December 2nd, read our Clear Backpack Implementation Plan for Crews.

• We will distribute clear backpacks the last week of this semester and expect all students to participate in the 4-week pilot.

• Georgia School Climate Surveys are now live for all Crews stakeholders.

• These surveys are anonymous and provide important school improvement feedback to help Crews a safer, more engaging place to learn.

• Our state school climate rating is determined by our participation rates. Therefore, we need as many families as possible to complete this important survey.

• Final exams will occur December 17 - 20. Exams cannot be taken early. Make-up testing will occur the first week of January.

• Review our Crews December Final Exams' Schedule carefully and plan accordingly.

All medications, both prescription and over the counter (including cough drops), must be brought to the school clinic by a parent or guardian. Students may not bring medication to school.
