Loveland Fall Food Drive
Our 3rd Grade Unified Club is excited to sponsor a Fall Food Drive from November 4th to November 8th, and we invite all Loveland families to help support this effort! Students will be collecting non-perishable food items, which the club members will box, pack, and deliver to the Westside Food Bank.
With your help, we hope to make a positive impact and provide essential food items to as many Westside families as possible. Thank you for joining us in supporting our community!
Veteran's Day Information
Dear Loveland Families,
Please join us in honoring our Loveland Community Veterans this Veterans Day with a special school assembly on Monday, November 11th at 9:30 AM. Please invite your veterans who may be in your family or circle of friends to our special event! On this day all members of the Loveland Community of Learners will be wearing red, white, and blue. Due to seating limitations, our assembly will include only our students, staff and our special veterans and their families/guests.
In order to thank our service men and women, Loveland students would like to send personalized thank you notes to Veterans. Please help us by clicking on the button below to fill out a form providing the name and address of a Veteran by Wednesday, November 1st. We will then send a thank you note via U.S. Post to the identified current or former service member. Thank you for helping us celebrate our Veterans.

Loveland School Improvement Goal
Dear Loveland Families,
I am excited to share our Loveland School Improvement Plan with you, which will focus on elevating math skills for all students, with special attention to ensuring growth across all subgroups. At Loveland, we have established a dedicated School Improvement Team leading our staff with impactful instructional strategies aimed at enhancing math proficiency for every student.
One key part of our plan involves “Math STOP Days,” where our teachers dedicate time to focus intensely on math instruction. These days are designed to evaluate and refine our teaching methods, ensuring that each math lesson is engaging, meaningful, and results-driven. After each lesson or segment, we measure students’ understanding to confirm the success of our instruction and identify areas for improvement.
Our decision to focus on math stems from our past successes and the recognition that our scores have recently remained steady rather than showing the growth we know our students are capable of achieving. By targeting this area, we’re committed to pushing beyond the plateau and fostering a culture of continual improvement in math skills.
We welcome your support in helping us reach our goals. By practicing math facts at home and using tools like IXL for reinforcement, families play an invaluable role in this journey. Together, we can achieve new heights in student success!

Fall Temperatures
The temperatures have been and will be going up and down for the next few weeks. Please make sure your child is wearing appropriate clothing in the morning. Sweatshirts, fleeces, and lightweight jackets are easy to keep in a backpack in case of cooler temperatures at recess time.
Thank You
Thank you to Meghann Manning and the entire Loveland community for supporting our recent Godfather’s Slice of Pie Night! Your enthusiasm and participation made the evening a wonderful success. The Loveland Community Club raised $244 from the event. THANK YOU for supporting Loveland School.

Wednesday Dismissal 3PM
Every Wednesday we will end the school day at 3:00 pm instead of 3:30 pm. This gives our teachers throughout the District collaboration time by attending weekly professional learning communities. Please plan accordingly to pick your child up at 3PM.
