Howdy!

As the school year winds down and the sun sets on another round-up of learning, it's time for a little heart-to-heart from your trusty ol' schoolhouse.

Well, folks, we've ridden this trail together through thick and thin, and what a ride it's been! From the first hoofprints of September to the dusty trails of June, our posse of students, parents, and teachers have been wrangling up knowledge, forging friendships, and blazing trails like true pioneers of the West.

But before we hitch our wagons and head off into the sunset for summer break, there's a few things y'all need to know:

1. Summer Learning Packets will be coming home this week!

2. Yearbooks are also coming home this week. We do have extras, please stop if you would like to purchase one. Cost is $15 cash or check made out to Duncan Elementary.

3. June 6th and June 7th are half days dismissal will be at 12:04pm.

And there you have it, folks! As we mosey on towards summer break, let's tip our hats to the trails we've ridden and the adventures yet to come. Thank you for entrustin' us with your young'uns this year. It's been a pleasure ridin' alongside each and every one of ya.

Report cards will be available on your parent PowerSchool account by the end of the day on Friday, June 14th. Report cards will no longer be emailed to families but are being shared through a more secure method using your parent PowerSchool account. The file can only be accessed through a web browser, such as Edge, Chrome or Safari. Please note that the link is not available through the PowerSchool App.

If you are moving and your child will not be attending Duncan in the fall, please contact the main office at 586-797-4600 or officeduncan@uticak12.org.

Please remember to pick up any medicine your child had kept in the office by the end of this week (June 16). Medical forms for the 2024-2025 school year were sent home with your child prior to the end of the school year. Medical Forms can also be found by clicking here.
