Meeting the Universal Needs
of Multilingual Students
9:00am - 3:00pm┃August 21st OR December 12th
How do we help language learners--those students learning English and content simultaneously--become resourceful, motivated and strategic? This workshop will help you plan for learner variability and anticipate challenges. This workshop is ideal for teachers and instructional coaches/leaders for grades 3-12.
Learning Outcomes:
- Participants will understand Variability of Language Learners.
- Participants will learn how to develop and deliver content and language instruction.
- Participants will learn vocabulary strategies.
This workshop is offered exclusively to those districts participating in CESA 10’s Title III Services including: Altoona, Augusta, Bloomer, Bruce, Cadott, Chippewa Falls, Colby, Cornell, Drummond, Eleva-Strum, Flambeau, Gilman, Gilmanton, Granton, Greenwood, Ladysmith, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Mondovi, Neillsville, New Auburn, Osseo-Fairchild, Owen-Withee, Spencer, Stanley-Boyd, Thorp, and Winter.
