“How did it get so late so soon? Its night before its afternoon. December is here before its June. My goodness how the time has flewn. How did it get so late so soon?"

Thank you, McCourt Middle School & Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern RI
During a recent open house at the Boys and Girls Club of Northern RI and parent/teacher conferences at McCourt Middle School, Pam Shayer & Terri-Lynn Longpre presented Hidden in Plain Sight for parents, staff, faculty members & Administration. This unique opportunity gave attendees a hands-on experience to learn about the current vaping trends and gain knowledge of marijuana concentrates. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to educate as well as partner with the Cumberland School Department as well as the Boys and Girls Club of Northern RI.
OPERATION STICKER SHOCK: Cumberland, Lincoln & North Smithfield
A huge “Shout out” to our friends at Park Square Wine & Spirits, Eddie Dowling Hwy North Smithfield, Paul's Liquors, Mendon Rd Cumberland and Lincoln Liquors, Front Street Plaza, for participating in our “Sticker Shock” Campaign! We appreciate and value our community partnerships that focus on keeping our youth safe from underage drinking. Please remember, if you are hosting an event or gathering where alcohol will be served, it is illegal to provide alcohol to anyone under the age of 21 & is punishable by a $1000 fine or 6 months in jail!
Avoiding Alcohol-Related Problems
You can make your holidays happier and safer by following these five simple tips throughout the season:
- Just say no.
- Resist the pressure to drink
- Offer nonalcoholic beverages.
- Designate a driver before the party begins.
- Choose your number ahead of time.
Don’t become another drunk driving statistic, and try to remember the reasons people celebrate at this time of the year!!!!
