Dear Hayshire Families,

Stuff- A- Panther Night was a huge success! Thank you to Mrs. Spangler and the rest of our PTO for bringing this event to Hayshire. We had close to 400 Hayshire family members and staff attend! A great time was had by all! Feel free to share your photos using this link. If you ordered a panther, but couldn't attend, your kit will be sent home next week.

We are excited to share your child's progress through our online Skyward report. Families have access to view your child's progress beginning Tuesday, November 19. For additional Skyward information, click here. Families can see their child's progress on a regular basis by viewing the Schoology Gradebook.

Join us for a dine-out day at MOD pizza on November 17. This event is on a Sunday and runs from open until close. Flyers (see below) were sent home with your child. Bring in this flyer, or order online through the MOD app or website using the provided code (MODGIVES25) and MOD will donate 25% of your bill to support Hayshire PTO!

Our PTO raised $6,805 through the Paws-itive Power Fundraiser! Hayshire will celebrate with a Pajama Day on Friday, November 22!

Reading Club happens after school two times a week. Fifty first-grade children and ten teachers stay after school to read and participate in reading activities. To learn more, click on the button below, 1st Grade Reading Camp.

The Central York School District English Language Development Department is hosting an informational Title III Night for ELL/ESL families. Join us on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at North Hills Elementary School from 6:00 - 7:30 PM to learn more about our programs, Skyward and Schoology, qualifying for services, graduation requirements and more!

You are welcome to join the Hour of Code at the Central York High School Library and Learning HUB. This is a great opportunity to introduce children to computer science and robotics. See below!

• Thank you to everyone who attended our last PTO meeting! Our next official meeting day is Thursday, January 9 at 6:00 pm in the library. Once again, PTO will provide child care during the meeting. We can’t wait to see you!

• Save the date! Hayshire will host the Holiday Shop on Saturday, December 7 from 9:00 to 12:00 pm. We are in need of volunteers to help set up on Friday, December 6 and to run the Holiday Shop on Saturday, December 7. We are also in need of dessert donations.

Central York School District offers optional protection plans for your child’s District issued devices.

The protection plan fully covers your child’s device for any accidental damage that occurs. The cost is $25 per year for iPads and $60 per year for Macbooks.
