❄️ Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Focus for January: Respect is a Wonderland
One of our hallways has transformed into a Winter Wonderland to remind students that “Respect is a Wonderland!” We’re focusing on showing respect in all areas of our school—through our words, actions, and attitudes. HERE is a video of the Hallway!

Greetings from the Media Center!
First, I would like to thank our Brandywine families for supporting our recent Book Fair. I’m excited to utilize our profits to buy new books for our media center! Speaking of books in our media center, if you are ever in need of assistance with helping your student find books that are just right for them and help develop a love of reading, please reach out to me at dsteele@forsyth.k12.ga.us. Today, I would like to spotlight a new program that we kicked off this year. Our 4th graders were given the opportunity to apply to Adopt-a-Shelf. The students were then trained on how to care for their shelf, keeping it tidy and organized. It has been a joy to watch students take ownership of their shelves, making recommendations to friends and taking pride in their work. I'm so proud of our Badgers! Thank you! Media Specialist

National School Counseling Week 2025, “School Counseling: Helping Students Thrive,” sponsored by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), will be celebrated from Feb. 3–7, 2025, to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems and how students are different as a result of what school counselors do. National School Counseling Week highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career. The special week honoring school counselors provides recognition for school counselors who implement comprehensive school counseling programs, a vital part of the educational process for all students as they meet the challenges of the 21st century.
Thank you, Ms. Lundy & Ms. McDevitt for supporting our Brandywine community!
